The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress Announces 2018 MVP Award Winners

The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress announced the winners of its 18th annual Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, recognizing outstanding roofing workers from Denver; Agawam, Mass.; Apex, N.C.; and Wilmington, N.C. The MVP Awards program honors roofing workers based on their significant contributions in outstanding on-the-job performance/workmanship and outstanding performance/other noteworthy contributions outside the workplace.

The 2018 MVP Award winners are:

  • Alan Baird, foreman at Core Contractors Inc., Denver, for outstanding on-the-job performance and other noteworthy contributions and activities—Best of the Best
  • Roman Graham, foreman at Baker Roofing Co., Wilmington, N.C., for other noteworthy contributions and activities
  • Bryan Howard, superintendent at CentiMark Corp., Apex, N.C., for outstanding on-the-job performance and other noteworthy contributions and activities
  • Douglas Woods, driver at OMG Inc., Agawam, Mass., for outstanding on-the-job performance and other noteworthy contributions and activities
  • Additionally, the Alliance named the following MVP Award finalists:

  • Glenn Coleman, foreman at CFE Inc., Apex, N.C.
  • Kenneth Keaton, superintendent at Tecta America Oklahoma, Muskogee, Okla.
