Register Now for the National Slate Association Conference in Washington, D.C.

The National Slate Association (NSA) announced that registration is now open for the Bi-Annual National Slate Association Conference, which will take place in Washington, D.C., on October 24-27. Highlights include a tour of the U.S. Capitol and National Mall, a walking tour of slate roofs in the Chevy Chase area, a full day of slate-related speakers, AIA accredited presentations, and installation demos at the Roof Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The conference headquarters is the Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Chevy Chase Pavilion, an eco-friendly hotel within close proximity of Rock Creek Park and Washington National Cathedral.

Speakers and presentations include Victor Cardenes, “All You Need To Know About Slate”; Reid Ribble, “Vision for NRCA and the Roofing Industry”; and Bill Wilkins, “Artificial Intelligence Driven Roofing Assessments.” Additional Speakersinclude Trent Cotney of Cotney Construction Law, Brad Jones of Buckingham Slate, Ski Wysocki of Chicago Metal Supply, Ken Rule of Black Diamond Slate and John Chan of Durable Slate.
