GAF has launched a visualizer tool to help sell its StreetBond Pavement coatings. Created by Chameleon Power, the leader in visualization technologies and GAF’s partner in roofing visualization tools, the StreetBond Visualizer assists customers with envisioning the outcome of their paving project prior to installation.

Users can select from a variety of different StreetBond coating colors and StreetPrint patterns, and apply to their own project photos or drawings. The tool also features a “Need Ideas?” button that gives the user some starting patterns and colors to help them in making design decisions. “GAF has utilized Chameleon technologies for nearly two decades, and continues to embrace our next generation tools and concepts,” said Dan Dempsey, President of Chameleon Power. “Visualization is a standard in the construction industry, and we are proud to partner with GAF to provide this experience to GAF customers.”

EagleView App Update Expands Beyond Roof Measurement Reports

EagleView Technologies has released its newest update to the EagleView App, available for download on both the iOS App Store and on Google Play. The new EagleView App features include automated quoting for job estimates as well as an interactive 3D visualizer enabling a 360-degree view of the property.

The EagleView App is currently used to order, view order status, and access property measurement reports anytime, anywhere. With this new update, users can now take the guesswork out of estimating by setting customized job cost and pricing preferences, and generating an automated quote for every report order placed.

    New Mobile App Provides Aerial Roof Measurement Services

    CoreLogic SkyMeasure AppCoreLogic launched its mobile application for SkyMeasure, a residential and commercial aerial roof measurement service. According to the company, the mobile application uses the same advanced geocoding technology as the desktop version, while also increasing access for roofing and insurance professionals to ParcelPoint, the CoreLogic proprietary property parcel database.

The drone incorporates full electronic system redundancy and automated aerial-sensing solutions with onboard sensors. It is also powered with the triple-redundant AscTec Trinity autopilot.     The PhotoModeler UAS 2016 software creates 3D models, measurements, and maps from photographs taken with ordinary cameras built-in or mounted on drones. It includes features for optimized operation with drone photos including post processing kinematics (PPK), volume objects, geographic coordinate systems support, multispectral image support and control point assist.
